Digital Projection Genuine Lens SL-122 is a factory-supplied optical accessory for Digital Projection professional projectors. It is a standard-throw lens (Standard Throw) with a 0.65-0.85:1 (UST zoom) throw ratio, designed for the 0.95inch 3DLP(HIGHlite) panel. The factory compatibility list covers 2 models; before installation, simply verify the projector model and panel size—no adapter ring workaround is needed. The value of an OEM lens lies not in the extra figures in the specification sheet, but in the fact that it is calibrated at the factory for the optical path and mount of that projector series: once installed, the image circle, edge illumination, and focusing travel are all at their design values, so there is no need to use keystone correction to compensate for image quality.

These specifications are subject to the original manufacturer’s specifications. For mechanical dimensions, flange distance, and mount type not shown in the specification table, please contact us with the projector model for verification. Ordering solely because the model numbers are similar carries the risk that the lens will not fit.
II. Converting Throw Ratio to Installation Distance
The throw ratio is the ratio of the installation distance to the image width. This OEM lens is a zoom lens (0.65-0.85:1 (UST zoom)). A given image size corresponds to a range of installation distances, and the lens can focus anywhere within that range.
| Image Size | Image Width | Required Installation Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 inches | 2.15 m | Approx. 1.40 – 1.83 m |
| 120 inches | 2.58 m | Approx. 1.68 – 2.19 m |
| 150 inches | 3.22 m | Approx. 2.10 – 2.74 m |
| 200 inches | 4.30 m | Approx. 2.79 – 3.65 m |
These figures represent the clear distance from the lens front surface to the screen and do not include the space required behind the projector for cooling and cabling. Calculated for a 16:10 image; actual values should be verified on site and according to the original manufacturer’s manual.
Image quality differs at the two ends of the zoom range: near the close end, the image is brighter and the edges are slightly softer; near the far end, the edges are sharper and brightness is slightly lower. Where the venue allows, position the lens near the middle of the range. After installation, first find the sharpest setting using the focus ring, then fine-tune the lens shift.
III. Compatible Models (2 Units)
The table below is taken from the factory compatibility list. Brightness and resolution have been populated from the model database; unavailable values are marked as “—” and have not been estimated.
| Model | Brightness | Resolution |
|---|---|---|
| HIGHlite Laser 1080P | — | — |
| HIGHlite Laser WUXGA | — | — |
To check whether a model outside the list can be used, send us photos of the projector nameplate and the existing lens. Platforms of the same generation often share the same mount, but ordering based solely on a similar model name is not worth the risk.
Throw Ratio by Model Series
The nominal throw ratio of the same SL-122 varies by projector series, so use the value corresponding to the series of the projector in your installation.
| Model Series | Throw Ratio |
|---|---|
| — | 0.65-0.85:1 (UST zoom) |
IV. Three Checks Before Replacement
- The panel size must match. SL-122 is designed for the 0.95inch 3DLP(HIGHlite) panel. Even if the mount fits, projectors with a different panel size or resolution may have problems with the image circle and edge illumination.
- Calculate the installation distance first. This lens has a nominal throw ratio of 0.65-0.85:1 (UST zoom). Use the table in Section 2 to calculate the distance for your venue; a fixed-focus lens offers no adjustment margin, and even a zoom lens requires 10–20 cm of margin at both ends.
- Verify the mount and locking mechanism. The OEM lens is calibrated for the mount used on that projector series. After installation, it must audibly lock into place; a skewed image or soft edges are usually caused by incomplete locking, not by the lens itself.
If you are unsure, photograph both the projector nameplate and the existing lens nameplate and send the photos to us. Verification against the actual items is the safest approach.
