The throw ratio is the ratio of the installation distance to the image width. This is a fixed-focus lens (0.35:1), so the installation distance varies linearly with image size, with no adjustment range. Accurate measurements are essential before installation.

These figures represent the clear distance from the front face of the lens to the screen and do not include space behind the chassis for ventilation and cable connections. Values are calculated for a 16:10 image; actual values are subject to on-site measurements and the manual.

It also retains full lens-shift capability, so the image can still be aligned after adjusting the focal length.

4. Three Checks Before Replacement

• Match the panel and resolution. This model is designed for 0.67-inch panels. Projectors with a different panel size or resolution may produce somewhat different image quality, so check the chassis nameplate before installation.
• Check the interface and locking mechanism. Interfaces are generally compatible within the same platform generation, but the position of the locking clip varies by generation. If the image appears skewed or the edges look soft after installation, the lens is usually not fully locked rather than the lens itself being faulty.
• A fixed-focus lens has no zoom adjustment. Image size can only be changed by moving the projector, so measure the installation space accurately first and allow an additional 10–20 cm at the endpoints.
