The throw ratio is the ratio of the installation distance to the image width. This lens has a fixed focal length (0.35:1), so the installation distance changes linearly with image size, with no zoom adjustment margin. It must be measured accurately before installation.

These figures represent the clear distance from the front of the lens to the screen, excluding space required for rear chassis ventilation and cable connections. They are calculated for a 16:10 image; actual values should be verified on site and according to the manual.

• Check the interface and locking mechanism. Interfaces are generally compatible within the same platform generation, but the locking latch position varies between generations. If the image appears skewed or its edges are not sharp after installation, the lock is usually not fully engaged, rather than the lens itself being faulty.
• Fixed focal length means there is no zoom adjustment. Image size can only be changed by moving the projector, so the site dimensions must be measured accurately first, with an additional 10–20 cm allowed at each endpoint.
