Digital Projection Genuine Lens ILS-07 is a factory-supplied optical accessory for Digital Projection engineering projectors. It is a long-throw lens with a throw ratio of 1.58-2.35:1 (Long Throw), designed for the 0.95inch 3DLP(E-Vision/Titan) panel. The manufacturer's compatibility list covers 2 models. Before installation, simply verify the projector model and panel size—there is no need to make do with adapter rings. The value of a genuine lens lies not in the additional figures in a specification sheet, but in the fact that it is calibrated at the factory to the optical path and lens mount of that projector series. Once installed, the image circle, edge illumination, and focus travel all meet their design values, eliminating the need to use keystone correction to compensate for image quality.
1. Lens Specifications
| Brand | Digital Projection (Digital Projection) |
| Lens Model | ILS-07 |
| OEM Part Number | 141-102 |
| Throw Ratio | 1.58-2.35:1 (Long Throw) |
| Product Type | Long Throw |
| Compatible Panel | 0.95inch 3DLP(E-Vision/Titan) panel |

The above specifications are subject to the official manufacturer specifications. For mechanical dimensions, flange distance, and lens mount type not shown in the specification table, please verify them with us according to the projector model. Ordering solely because the model numbers are similar risks a fitment issue.
2. Calculating Installation Distance from Throw Ratio
The throw ratio is the ratio of installation distance to image width. This genuine lens is a zoom lens (1.58-2.35:1 (Long Throw)). A given image size corresponds to a range of installation distances, and the lens can focus anywhere within that range.
| Image Size | Image Width | Required Installation Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 inches | 2.15 m | Approx. 3.40 – 5.05 m |
| 120 inches | 2.58 m | Approx. 4.08 – 6.06 m |
| 150 inches | 3.22 m | Approx. 5.10 – 7.58 m |
| 200 inches | 4.30 m | Approx. 6.79 – 10.11 m |
These figures represent the clear distance from the front of the lens to the screen and do not include clearance for rear chassis cooling or cable connections. They are calculated for a 16:10 image; actual values should be verified by on-site measurement and are subject to the manufacturer's manual.
Image quality differs at the two ends of the zoom range: at the short end, the image is brighter and the edges are slightly softer; at the long end, the edges are sharper and brightness is slightly lower. Where the venue allows, we recommend positioning the lens near the middle of the range. After installation, first find the sharpest setting on the focus ring, then fine-tune the lens shift.
3. Compatible Models (2 Units)
The following table is taken from the manufacturer's compatibility list. Brightness and resolution have been populated from the model database; entries that cannot be obtained are shown as “—”, with no values inferred.
| Model | Brightness | Resolution |
|---|---|---|
| E-Vision 8500 | — | — |
| Titan 8700 | — | — |
To determine whether a model not on the list is compatible, please send us photos of the projector nameplate and the existing lens for verification. Platforms from the same generation often share the same lens mount, but it is not worth taking the risk of ordering on the basis of a similar model number.
Throw Ratio by Model Series
The stated throw ratio varies among the series below when the same ILS-07 is installed, so select the value according to the series of the actual projector.
| Model Series | Throw Ratio |
|---|---|
| — | 1.58-2.35:1 (Long Throw) |
4. Three Checks Before Replacement
- Make sure the panel size matches. ILS-07 is designed for the 0.95inch 3DLP(E-Vision/Titan) panel. On a projector with a different panel size or resolution, the image circle and edge illumination may be compromised even if the lens mount fits.
- Calculate the installation distance first. This lens has a rated throw ratio of 1.58-2.35:1 (Long Throw). Use the table in Section 2 to calculate the distance for your venue dimensions. A fixed-focus lens offers no adjustment margin, and even a zoom lens requires 10–20 cm of clearance at both ends.
- Verify the lens mount and locking mechanism. The genuine lens is calibrated to the lens mount used on that projector series, and you must hear it lock into place after installation. A skewed image or soft edges are usually caused by incomplete locking, not by a fault in the lens itself.
If you are unsure, send us one photo each of the projector nameplate and the nameplate on the existing lens. Verification against the actual hardware is the safest approach.
