Digital Projection Genuine Lens ILS-06 is an original optical accessory for Digital Projection professional projectors. It is a standard-throw (Standard Throw) lens with a throw ratio of 1.18-1.60:1 (standard zoom), designed for 0.95inch 3DLP(E-Vision/Titan) panels. The manufacturer's model compatibility list covers 2 models; before installation, simply verify the projector model and panel size, with no need to improvise using adapter rings. The value of a genuine lens lies not merely in the additional figures in its specification sheet, but in the fact that it is calibrated at the factory to the optical path and mount of that model series: once installed, the image circle, edge illumination, and focus travel all match the designed values, so there is no need to rely on keystone correction to compensate for image quality.

The above specifications are subject to the manufacturer's specifications. For mechanical dimensions, flange distance, and mount type not shown in the specifications, please contact Zorsika with the exact projector model. Ordering solely on the basis of a similar model carries the risk that the lens will not fit.
2. Converting Throw Ratio to Installation Distance
The throw ratio is the ratio of the installation distance to the image width. The rated throw ratio of this genuine zoom lens is 1.18-1.60:1 (standard zoom). A given image size therefore corresponds to a range of installation distances, and the lens can focus at any distance within that range.
| Image Size | Image Width | Required Installation Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 inches | 2.15 m | Approx. 2.54 – 3.44 m |
| 120 inches | 2.58 m | Approx. 3.04 – 4.13 m |
| 150 inches | 3.22 m | Approx. 3.81 – 5.16 m |
| 200 inches | 4.30 m | Approx. 5.07 – 6.88 m |
These figures represent the clear distance from the front surface of the lens to the screen and do not include space for rear projector ventilation and cable connections. They are calculated for a 16:10 image; actual distances must be confirmed through on-site measurement and in accordance with the manufacturer's manual.
Image quality differs at the two ends of the zoom range: at the shorter-distance end, the image is brighter and the edges are slightly softer; at the longer-distance end, the edges are sharper and brightness decreases slightly. Where the installation space allows, use the middle of the range. After fitting the lens, first find the sharpest position on the focus ring, then fine-tune the shift.
3. Compatible Projector Models (2 Models)
The table below is taken from the manufacturer's model compatibility list. Brightness and resolution are populated from the model database; values that cannot be obtained are shown as “—” and are not estimated.
| Model | Brightness | Resolution |
|---|---|---|
| E-Vision 8500 | — | — |
| Titan 8700 | — | — |
For compatibility with a model not on the list, please send us photos of the projector nameplate and the existing lens so we can verify it. Platforms from the same generation often share the same mount, but the risks of ordering based on a similar model outweigh the benefits.
Throw Ratios by Projector Model Series
The rated throw ratio differs among the series listed below when the same ILS-06 is installed, so the value must be selected according to the series of the actual projector.
| Model Series | Throw Ratio |
|---|---|
| — | 1.18-1.60:1 (standard zoom) |
4. Three Things to Confirm Before Replacement
- The panel size must match. ILS-06 is designed for 0.95inch 3DLP(E-Vision/Titan) panels. Even if the mount accepts the lens, a projector with a different panel size or resolution will have problems with the image circle and edge illumination.
- Calculate the installation distance first. This lens has a rated throw ratio of 1.18-1.60:1 (standard zoom). Use the table in Section 2 to calculate the distance for your installation space. A fixed-focus lens provides no adjustment margin, and even a zoom lens should have 10–20 cm of allowance at both ends.
- Verify the mount and locking mechanism. The genuine lens is calibrated for the mount used on that model series. After installation, you must hear the lens lock into place. A skewed image or soft edges are usually due to incomplete locking rather than a fault in the lens itself.
If you are unsure, take one photo of the projector nameplate and one of the existing lens nameplate, then send them to us. Verification against the physical units is the most reliable approach.
