Panasonic Genuine Lens ET-C1T800 is an OEM optical accessory for Panasonic engineering projectors. It is a long-throw lens with a throw ratio of 3.30-6.60:1, designed for a 0.8" 1DLP panel. The official compatibility list covers 16 models; before installation, simply verify the projector model and panel size, with no need to improvise using adapter rings. The value of an OEM lens lies not in the extra specification figures, but in the fact that it is calibrated at the factory to the optical path and mount of the projector series. Once installed, the image circle, edge illumination, and focus travel all meet their design specifications, so there is no need to rely on keystone correction to compensate for image quality.

I. Lens Specifications

The above specifications are subject to the original manufacturer's specifications. For mechanical dimensions, flange distance, and mount type not shown in the specification table, please contact us for verification based on the projector model. Ordering solely because the model numbers are similar carries the risk that the lens will not fit.
II. Converting Throw Ratio into Installation Distance
The throw ratio is the ratio of the installation distance to the image width. This genuine lens is a zoom lens (3.30-6.60:1), so a given image size corresponds to a range of installation distances, and the lens can be focused at any point within that range during installation.
| Image Size | Image Width | Required Installation Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 inches | 2.15 m | Approx. 7.09 – 14.19 m |
| 120 inches | 2.58 m | Approx. 8.51 – 17.03 m |
| 150 inches | 3.22 m | Approx. 10.64 – 21.28 m |
| 200 inches | 4.30 m | Approx. 14.19 – 28.38 m |
The distances above are clear distances from the front surface of the lens to the screen and do not allow for ventilation and cable connection space at the rear of the projector. They are calculated for a 16:10 image; actual values must be confirmed by on-site measurement and the manufacturer's manual.
Image quality differs at the two ends of the zoom range: toward the near end, the image is brighter and the edges are slightly softer; toward the far end, the edges are sharper and the image is slightly dimmer. When site conditions allow, it is recommended to place the installation distance in the middle of the range. After installation, find the sharpest setting using the focus ring, then fine-tune the lens shift.
III. Compatible Models (16 Models)

To verify whether a model not on the list can be used, send us photos of the projector nameplate and the existing lens. Projectors based on the same-generation platform often share the same mount, but ordering based solely on a similar model is not worth the risk.
Throw Ratio by Projector Model Series
The nominal throw ratio differs when the same ET-C1T800 is used with the series listed below, so select the value based on the actual projector series.
| Projector Model Series | Throw Ratio |
|---|---|
| — | 3.30-6.60:1 |
IV. Three Checks Before Replacement
- The panel size must match. ET-C1T800 is designed for the 0.8" 1DLP panel. If the panel size or resolution differs, the image circle and edge illumination may be unsuitable even if the lens fits the mount.
- Calculate the installation distance first. This lens has a rated throw ratio of 3.30-6.60:1. Use the table in Section II to calculate the distance for your venue; fixed-focus lenses offer no adjustment margin, while zoom lenses should allow an additional 10–20 cm at both ends.
- Check the mount and locking mechanism. The OEM lens is calibrated to the mount of that projector series, and you must hear it lock into place after installation. A skewed image or soft edges are usually caused by incomplete locking, rather than a problem with the lens itself.
If you are unsure, take one photo of the projector nameplate and one of the existing lens nameplate and send them to us. Verification against the actual hardware is the safest approach.
