Panasonic Genuine Lens ET-C1W300 is a genuine optical accessory for Panasonic professional projectors. It is a Short Throw lens with a throw ratio of 0.550-0.690:1 for 0.8" 1DLP-inch panels. The official model compatibility list covers 16 models. Before installation, simply verify the projector model and panel size; no adapter ring workaround is needed. The value of a genuine lens lies not in extra rows of specifications, but in the fact that it is calibrated at the factory to the optical path and mount of that projector series. Once installed, the image circle, edge illumination, and focus travel all meet their design values, so there is no need to use keystone correction to compensate for image quality.

These specifications are subject to the manufacturer's official specifications. For mechanical dimensions, flange distance, and mount type not shown in the specifications table, please contact us with the projector model for verification. Placing an order based solely on a similar model number carries the risk of a fitment failure.
2. Converting Throw Ratio into Installation Distance
The throw ratio is the ratio of the installation distance to the image width. This genuine lens is a zoom lens (0.550-0.690:1), so each image size corresponds to a range of distances, and the lens can be focused at any position within that range during installation.
| Image Size | Image Width | Required Installation Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 inches | 2.15 m | approx. 1.18 – 1.48 m |
| 120 inches | 2.58 m | approx. 1.42 – 1.78 m |
| 150 inches | 3.22 m | approx. 1.77 – 2.23 m |
| 200 inches | 4.30 m | approx. 2.37 – 2.97 m |
These are the clear distances from the front surface of the lens to the screen and do not include clearance for rear housing cooling and cable connections. The distances are calculated for a 16:10 image; verify the actual distances on site and according to the manufacturer's manual.
Image quality differs between the two ends of the zoom range: at the close end, the image is brighter and the edges are slightly softer; at the far end, the edges are sharper and brightness decreases slightly. When the venue allows, position the lens near the middle of the range, find the sharpest setting on the focus ring after installation, and then fine-tune the lens shift.
3. Compatible Models (16 Models)
The following table is taken from the official model compatibility list. Brightness and resolution are populated from the model database; entries marked “—” indicate that the data is unavailable, and no assumptions have been made.

For models not listed, please send us photos of the projector nameplate and the current lens so we can verify compatibility. Projectors based on the same-generation platform often share the same mount, but ordering based only on a similar model name carries unnecessary risk.
Throw Ratios for Different Model Series
The nominal throw ratio varies by projector series when the same ET-C1W300 lens is installed. Use the value corresponding to the series of the actual projector when selecting a lens.
| Model Series | Throw Ratio |
|---|---|
| — | 0.550-0.690:1 |
4. Three Checks Before Replacement
- Make sure the panel size matches. ET-C1W300 is designed for 0.8" 1DLP-inch panels. Even if the lens physically fits the mount, projectors with a different panel size or resolution may experience problems with the image circle and edge illumination.
- Calculate the installation distance first. This lens has a specified throw ratio of 0.550-0.690:1. Apply the table in Section 2 to the dimensions of your venue. Fixed-focus lenses offer no adjustment range, and zoom lenses should also allow an additional 10–20 cm at both ends of the range.
- Verify the mount and locking mechanism. Genuine lenses are calibrated to the mount of the corresponding projector series, and you must hear the lens click securely into place after installation. A skewed image or soft edges are usually caused by incomplete locking, rather than a problem with the lens itself.
If you are unsure, take one photo each of the projector nameplate and the lens nameplate and send them to us. Verification against the physical equipment is the most reliable approach.
