Digital Projection OEM Lens SL-124 is an original optical accessory for Digital Projection engineering projectors. It is a short-throw lens with a throw ratio of 0.67:1 (fixed focus) for the 0.95inch 3DLP(HIGHlite) panel. The OEM compatibility list covers 1 model; simply verify the projector model and panel size before installation, with no need to make do with adapter rings. The value of an OEM lens lies not in a few extra figures on the specification sheet, but in the fact that it is calibrated at the factory to the optical path and mount of that model series: once installed, the image circle, edge illumination, and focusing travel all meet the design values, so there is no need to compensate for image quality with keystone correction.
1. Lens Specifications
| Brand | Digital Projection (Digital Projection) |

The above specifications are subject to the OEM specifications. For mechanical dimensions, flange distance, and mount type not shown in the specifications table, please verify them with us using the projector model; ordering based solely on a similar model carries the risk that the lens will not fit.
2. Calculating Installation Distance from Throw Ratio
The throw ratio is the ratio of the installation distance to the image width. This OEM lens is fixed focus (0.67:1 (fixed focus)), so the installation distance varies linearly with image size, with no adjustment margin; accurate measurements must be taken before installation.
| Image Size | Image Width | Required Installation Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 inches | 2.15 m | Approx. 1.44 m |
| 120 inches | 2.58 m | Approx. 1.73 m |
| 150 inches | 3.22 m | Approx. 2.16 m |
| 200 inches | 4.30 m | Approx. 2.88 m |
The distances above are net distances from the front surface of the lens to the screen and do not include space for rear cooling and cable connections at the back of the projector. These values are calculated for a 16:10 image area; in practice, rely on on-site measurements and the OEM manual.
3. Compatible Models (1 Model)
The following table is taken from the OEM compatibility list. Brightness and resolution have been populated from the model database; where the data is unavailable, “—” is shown, with no assumptions made.
| Model | Brightness | Resolution |
|---|---|---|
| HIGHlite Laser WUXGA | — | — |
For models not on the list, please send us photos of the projector nameplate and the existing lens so we can verify compatibility—platforms of the same generation often share the same mount, but the risks of ordering based on a similar model name are not worth taking.
Throw Ratios by Model Series
Although the same SL-124 is used across the series below, the rated throw ratio varies; when selecting a lens, use the value for the series of the actual projector.
| Model Series | Throw Ratio |
|---|---|
| — | 0.67:1 (fixed focus) |
4. Three Things to Confirm Before Replacement
- The panel size must match. SL-124 is designed for the 0.95inch 3DLP(HIGHlite) panel. For projectors with a different panel size or resolution, even if the lens fits the mount, the image circle and edge illumination may be compromised.
- Calculate the installation distance first. This lens has a rated throw ratio of 0.67:1 (fixed focus). Use the table in Section 2 to work out the distance for your venue; a fixed-focus lens offers no adjustment margin, and even a zoom lens should allow an extra 10–20 cm at both ends.
- Check the mount and locking mechanism. The OEM lens is calibrated to the mount of the applicable model series, and you must hear it click into the locked position after installation; a skewed image or soft edges usually mean the lens has not fully locked, rather than a problem with the lens itself.
If you are unsure, send us one photo each of the projector nameplate and the lens nameplate; checking against the actual items is the safest approach.
