Barco Original Lens EN52 Wide Fixed is an original optical accessory for Barco professional projectors. It is a standard throw lens (Standard Throw) with a throw ratio of 0.92:1. The factory compatibility list covers 10 models. Before installation, simply verify the projector model and panel size without having to make do with adapter rings. The value of an OEM lens lies not in the extra rows of numbers in its specification sheet, but in the fact that it is calibrated at the factory to the optical path and mount of that projector series. Once installed, the image circle, edge illumination, and focusing travel all match the design values, so there is no need to rely on keystone correction to compensate for image quality.

I. Lens Specifications
| Brand | Barco(Barco) |
| Lens Model | EN52 Wide Fixed |
| Throw Ratio | 0.92:1 |
| Product Type | Standard Throw Lens (Standard Throw) |

The above specifications are subject to the manufacturer's official specifications. For mechanical dimensions, flange distance, and mount configuration not shown in the specifications table, please verify them with us according to the projector model. Placing an order solely based on a similar model carries the risk that the lens will not fit.
II. Calculating Installation Distance from Throw Ratio
The throw ratio is the ratio of the installation distance to the image width. This OEM lens has a fixed focal length (0.92:1), so the installation distance changes linearly with the image size, leaving no room for adjustment. Accurate measurements are essential before installation.
| Image Size | Image Width | Required Installation Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 inches | 2.15 m | Approx. 1.98 m |
| 120 inches | 2.58 m | Approx. 2.37 m |
| 150 inches | 3.22 m | Approx. 2.97 m |
| 200 inches | 4.30 m | Approx. 3.96 m |
The distances shown are the clear distances from the front surface of the lens to the screen and do not include space behind the projector for ventilation and cable connections. These values are calculated for a 16:10 image; actual distances should be confirmed through on-site measurements and in accordance with the manufacturer's manual.
III. Compatible Models (10 Models)
The following table is taken from the manufacturer's compatibility list. Brightness and resolution have been populated from the model database; values that cannot be retrieved are shown as “—” and have not been estimated.
| Model | Brightness | Resolution |
|---|---|---|
| CTHD-61B | 5500 lumens | 1920x1080 |
| CTPN-41B | 3800 lumens | 2560x1080 |
| CTWQ-51B | 5000 lumens | 2560x1600 |
| CTWU-61B | 5500 lumens | 1920x1200 |
| F50 1080 | — | — |
| F50 Panorama | — | — |
| F50 WQXGA | — | — |
| F50 WUXGA | — | — |
| F82 1080p | — | — |
| Orion Cinemascope | — | — |
For models not on the list, please send us photographs of the projector nameplate and the existing lens so we can verify compatibility. Projector platforms from the same generation often share the same mount, but ordering based only on a similar model name is not worth the risk.
Throw Ratio by Projector Series
The nominal throw ratio of the same EN52 Wide Fixed lens differs across the projector series listed below, so use the value for the actual series of your projector when selecting a lens.
| Projector Series | Throw Ratio |
|---|---|
| — | 0.92:1 |
IV. Three Checks Before Replacement
- Confirm the projector chip and resolution. OEM lenses are designed for a specific panel size. If the panel specifications differ, the image circle cannot cover the full image, resulting in vignetting or light loss at the edges after installation.
- Calculate the installation distance first. This lens has a nominal throw ratio of 0.92:1. Use the table in Section II to calculate the distance based on your venue dimensions. A fixed-focal-length lens has no adjustment range, and even a zoom lens should have 10–20 cm of clearance at both ends.
- Verify the mount and locking mechanism. The OEM lens is calibrated to the mount used on that projector series. After installation, you must hear it click into the locked position. A skewed image and soft edges are usually caused by incomplete locking rather than a problem with the lens itself.
If you are unsure, take one photo of the projector nameplate and one of the existing lens nameplate and send them to us. Verification against the actual hardware is the most reliable approach.
