Panasonic Original Lens ET-DLE020 is a genuine optical accessory for Panasonic professional projectors. It is an ultra short throw lens with a throw ratio of 0.280-0.299:1, designed for 0.67-inch 1DLP panels. The original compatibility list covers 30 projector models; before installation, simply verify your projector model and panel size — no adapter rings needed. The value of an original lens isn't a few extra rows of numbers on a spec sheet, but the fact that it is calibrated at the factory to the optical path and mount of that projector series: once installed, the image circle, edge brightness, and focus travel all match design values, so you don't need keystone correction to compensate for image quality.

1. Lens Specifications

The above specifications are subject to the original manufacturer's data. For mechanical dimensions, flange focal distance, and mount type not shown in the spec table, please verify with us against your projector model — ordering based on model similarity alone carries the risk of incompatibility.
2. Converting Throw Ratio to Installation Distance
Throw ratio is the ratio of installation distance to image width. This original lens is fixed-focal (0.280-0.299:1), so the installation distance changes linearly with image size and has no adjustment margin — it must be measured accurately before installation.
| Image Size | Image Width | Required Installation Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 inches | 2.15 m | Approx. 0.60 – 0.64 m |
| 120 inches | 2.58 m | Approx. 0.72 – 0.77 m |
| 150 inches | 3.22 m | Approx. 0.90 – 0.96 m |
| 200 inches | 4.30 m | Approx. 1.20 – 1.29 m |
The above figures are the clear distance from the lens face to the screen, excluding rear ventilation and cabling space. Calculated for 16:10 aspect ratio; actual values are subject to on-site measurement and the original manufacturer's manual.
3. Compatible Models (30)

To check whether a model outside this list is compatible, send us a photo of the projector nameplate and the existing lens for verification — same-generation platforms often share mounts, but ordering based on model similarity alone isn't worth the risk.
Throw Ratio Across Model Series
The same ET-DLE020 mounted on the following series does not carry the same nominal throw ratio; selection must use the value for the actual projector series.
| Model Series | Throw Ratio |
|---|---|
| — | 0.280-0.299:1 |
4. Three Things to Confirm Before Replacement
- Panel size must match. The ET-DLE020 is designed for 0.67-inch 1DLP panels. Projectors with a different panel size or resolution may physically mount, but the image circle and edge brightness will suffer.
- Calculate installation distance first. This lens has a nominal throw ratio of 0.280-0.299:1; apply it to your venue dimensions using the table in Section 2. Fixed focal length has no margin, and even zoom lenses need 10–20 cm clearance at both ends.
- Check the mount and locking mechanism. The original lens is calibrated to the mount of that projector series; after installation you must hear it lock into place. Image skew and soft edges are usually caused by incomplete locking, not the lens itself.
If unsure, take a photo of the projector nameplate and the existing lens nameplate and send them to us — verification against the actual hardware is the safest approach.
