WK152 is a short-throw lens for 0.64-inch panels (LEYLI), with a 0.48:1 throw ratio and lens shift. It is compatible with 4 projector models from 1 model series. This guide presents the lens specifications, installation distances, model compatibility list, and replacement considerations in one place.
I. Lens Specifications
| Model | WK152 |
| Internal Model | D67-047 |
| Series | WK Series |
| Throw Ratio | 0.48:1 |
| Lens Shift | Horizontal 101% · Vertical 47.9% |
| Applicable Panel Size | 0.64 inches |
| Compatible Models | 4 Models / 1 Model Series |
| Warranty | 12 months; after-sales service is available for damage not caused by the user, based on the date shown on the shipping receipt |
The lens-shift capability is this lens’s key differentiator. A horizontal shift of 101% and vertical shift of 47.9% allow the projector to be installed off the screen centerline, with the image repositioned through lens shift rather than keystone correction. Keystone correction comes at a cost—each adjustment reduces the effective pixel detail and can blur text edges. In professional installations, never use keystone correction when lens shift can resolve the issue; preserving image quality is the bottom line.
II. Calculating Installation Distance from Throw Ratio
The throw ratio is the ratio of the installation distance to the image width. This lens has a fixed focal length (0.48:1), so the installation distance changes linearly with image size, with no adjustment margin. Accurate measurements are essential before installation.
| Image Size | Image Width | Required Installation Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 inches | 2.15 m | Approx. 1.03 m |
| 120 inches | 2.58 m | Approx. 1.24 m |
| 150 inches | 3.22 m | Approx. 1.55 m |
| 200 inches | 4.30 m | Approx. 2.06 m |
These distances represent the clear distance from the front of the lens to the screen and do not include clearance for rear housing ventilation and cable connections. They are calculated for a 16:10 aspect ratio; actual distances should be confirmed by on-site measurement and the manual.
III. Compatible Models (4 Models, LEYLI)
The table below is sorted by model production date from newest to oldest and lists each model’s resolution, brightness, and factory-lens zoom ratio, making it easy to identify the right option for a project.
| Model | Brightness | Resolution | Zoom Ratio |
|---|---|---|---|
| CL6600U | 9000 lumens | WUXGA 1920×1200 | 1.71X |
| RL-M7U | 7000 lumens | WUXGA 1920×1200 | 1.71X |
| RL-M8U | 8000 lumens | WUXGA 1920×1200 | 1.71X |
| RL-M9U | 9000 lumens | WUXGA 1920×1200 | 1.71X |
The zoom ratio is the zoom factor of the model’s factory-standard lens (upper ÷ lower limits of the standard throw-ratio range), not the zoom range of the lens featured in this article.
Common Features of These Models
The factory-standard lenses for these 4 models generally have throw ratios in the 1.10~1.88 range. The 0.48:1 ratio of the model featured here effectively changes the focal length, allowing the same projection distance to produce a different image size—the direct reason for replacing the lens. It also retains full lens-shift capability, so the image can still be aligned after the focal length is changed.
IV. Three Checks Before Replacement
- The panel and resolution must match. This model is designed for 0.64-inch panels. Projectors with a different panel size or resolution will show differences in projection performance, so checking the nameplate on the projector before installation is the safest approach.
- Interfaces and locking mechanism. Interfaces on the same-generation platform are generally broadly compatible, but the position of the locking latch differs between generations. A skewed image or unclear edges after installation are usually caused by the latch not being fully engaged, rather than by the lens itself.
- Account for lens-shift margin in the installation. The shift range provides some installation flexibility, but edge image quality declines when it is pushed to the limit. For actual use, keep the shift within 70% of the rated values.
For models not on the list, it is safer to send us a photo of the projector nameplate and the original lens for verification. Same-generation platforms often share the same interface, but placing an order based solely on a similar model number is not worth the risk.
