WB362 is a short-throw lens for the 0.65/0.66/0.67 panel group (Winland), with a 0.74–0.77:1 throw ratio and lens shift. It is compatible with 1 model across 1 model series. This article presents the lens specifications, installation distances, model compatibility list, and replacement considerations in one place.
I. Lens Specifications

Lens shift capability is the key differentiator of this lens. The 70.30% horizontal and 32% vertical shift ranges allow the projector to be installed off-center relative to the screen, with the image shifted back into alignment without using keystone correction. Keystone correction comes at a cost—every adjustment reduces the effective pixel count and slightly blurs text edges. In professional installations, always use lens shift instead of keystone correction whenever possible; this is the baseline for image quality.
II. Converting Throw Ratio into Installation Distance
The throw ratio is the ratio of the installation distance to the image width. This is a zoom lens (0.74–0.77:1), so a given image size corresponds to a range of distances, and the lens can be focused at any point within that range during installation.
| Image Size | Image Width | Required Installation Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 inches | 2.15 m | Approx. 1.59 – 1.66 m |
| 120 inches | 2.58 m | Approx. 1.91 – 1.99 m |
| 150 inches | 3.22 m | Approx. 2.39 – 2.48 m |
| 200 inches | 4.30 m | Approx. 3.18 – 3.31 m |
The distances above are the clear distance from the front surface of the lens to the screen and do not include space at the rear of the chassis for heat dissipation and cable connections. Calculated for a 16:10 image; actual values should be verified through on-site measurements and the manual.
Image quality varies at the two ends of the zoom range: near the short end, the image is brighter and the edges are slightly softer; near the long end, the edges are sharper and brightness is slightly reduced. When site conditions allow, use the middle of the range. After installation, find the sharpest setting on the focus ring first, then fine-tune the lens shift—adjusting both at the same time makes precise alignment difficult.
III. Compatible Models (1 Model, Winland)
The following table is ordered from newest to oldest by model production date and lists each model's resolution, brightness, and zoom ratio for the factory-supplied lens, enabling quick selection according to project requirements.
| Model | Brightness | Resolution | Zoom Ratio |
|---|---|---|---|
| C-4K900 | 9500 lumens | 4K 3840×2160 | 1.79X |
The zoom ratio is the zoom factor of the model's factory-supplied standard lens (the upper limit of the original throw ratio range ÷ the lower limit), not the zoom range of the lens described in this article.
Common Characteristics of These Models
The factory-supplied standard lenses for these models generally have throw ratios in the 1.4-2.5:1 range. The 0.74–0.77:1 ratio of WB362 effectively adjusts the focal range, allowing the same projection distance to produce a different image size—this is the direct reason for replacing the lens. At the same time, full lens shift capability is retained, so the image can still be aligned after changing the zoom range.
IV. Three Things to Confirm Before Replacement
- Confirm that the panel and resolution match. This model is compatible with a 0.67-inch panel. Projectors with a different panel size or resolution will vary in projection performance, so checking the nameplate on the projector before installation is the most reliable approach.
- Check the interface and locking mechanism. Same-generation platforms generally offer good interface compatibility, but the position of the locking tabs can vary by generation. If the image appears skewed or the edges are not sharp after installation, the issue is usually an incompletely engaged lock rather than the lens itself.
- Factor shift headroom into the installation. The shift range provides installation flexibility, but edge image quality declines when it is pushed to its limits. For actual use, keep the shift within 70% of the rated values.
For models not on the list, the safest approach is to send us the projector nameplate and a photo of the original lens for verification. Same-generation platforms often share the same interface, but placing an order simply because the model numbers look similar is not worth the risk.
